Blackbourne Middle School Blackbourne Middle school in Stanton and provides education for children from 8 to 13years. County buses are provided (free of charge) for the daily travel to and from school. Its website is here. Thurston Community College (formerly Thurston Upper School) Thurston is approximately 8 miles to the south of Barningham and daily buses are provided to and from the school (free until 6th form).
